TreeTools hosts two platforms – VirtualPlot and SilvaCloud, each desinged to help users optimise descision making before, during and after thinning events. This launch marks a significant milestone, and is the cumulation of two years of development, testing and feedback from the industry.
VirtualPlot
VirtualPlot allows foresters to assess tree stocking in real time, improving decision making during and after thinning operations. Using your DJI drone, you can capture images within your stands to get immediate stocking metrics from virtual plots, allowing you to assess and provide feedback to operators on site. VirtualPlot is easy to use and works outside of cell network coverage.
SilvaCloud
SilvaCloud leverages LiDAR Data to provide rapid and accurate stocking assessments at the stand level in your forest. SilvaCloud is easy to use and is compatible with a range of data sources. Users can leverage publically available LiDAR, or their own data from dedicated airborne or UAV platforms, to quickly generate a range of useful outputs.
