We are excited to announce the release of TreeTools VirtualPlot version 2.04, our advanced Ai virtual plotting application. This update marks a significant milestone, bringing enhanced features and improved precision to our users.
To download the latest version, if you already have a download link for a previous version, you will find this will just get the latest version with minimal hassle. If, however, you encounter any issues or do not possess an existing link, contact us and we will send through an updated link.
Thanks to the invaluable feedback from our dedicated beta testers and the integration of additional training imagery, TreeTools Realtime now offers superior accuracy in tree detection. Moreover, we have extended the application’s capabilities to include video processing and live streaming from drones during flight.
With beta tester supplied imagery, we have introduced new detection models for thinning (v3 model) and early age assessment (v2 model) in version 2.04 which significantly increasing the accuracy of tree detection results.
Additionally, the use of DTM to enhance the precision of plot area measurements now supports earlier models of DJI drones, such as the Phantom and Mavic 2 series. Users of these older drones can now take a ground take-off photo to align and calibrate the imagery to the DTM and upload this during processing.
