It is a simple process to be able to run remote desktop across two screens. This is useful when using applications like ATLAS GeoMaster as it provides for having GIS or Microsoft Office Applications on one screen and GeoMaster on the other.   On the other hand, you might want to NOT run two screens, again this is easy to change.

Configure Dual or Single Screen

  1. Right-click on Shortcut Icon for the Remote Desktop Connection.
    RDS Edit Connection File
  2. If you have more than 1 monitor attached you will be able to tick the option “use all monitors for the remote session” in remote desktop client display tab. Alternatively just untick this to not use all your monitors.   You can also select the screen size if needed (small to large).
  3. RDS Edit Connection for Multiple Screens
