Important Update for Landowners! – Restriction on New Forest Land that can be Registered in the ETS Starting Oct 2025
New policy regarding the ETS has been circulated by the government on the 4th of December, which may be of importance to you. Coming into effect in October 2025, legislation to enforce this new policy will come into force. This will restrict the amount of new forest land that can be registered in the ETS. This does not affect any land that is currently registered or in the process of being registered but may affect your ability to register future plantings.
