Our modern remote desktop environments use this technology to maximize your performance with our high-performance GPU virtual machines.
So, check you have the latest graphics drivers installed to help troubleshoot the issue, those provided by your PC manufacturers and also check for this Windows extension as well by running the following commandline in a powershell. Note this relates to your own computer, not the remote desktop itself.
If you open a powershell session and paste this command it will ensure a key Windows extension is installed.
Get-AppxPackage -Name “Microsoft.HEVCVideoExtension” | FT Name, Version
